The first time I ever came across Watermelon Milk was while walking in one of my favorite night markets in Banciao called Nanya Night Market. I had never had a fruit flavored milk before. It's considered disgusting in my beloved country of America, but I have always been the kind of person who tries everything at least once.
As I watched the vendor cut up the watermelon with great skill, my nerves began to relax and I started to get excited at the new prospect.
It was so good that I decided to learn how to make it myself.
